behind the lens

Hey, ya'll! I was raised on a farm in a small town called Farwell, TX, where the crops grow and the cows graze. I've been to many places, but somehow the wind blew me to West Texas, where I met the love of my life at a Texas country concert. We haven't missed a beat since! We are now married, and have 3 sweet blessings . My husband is one of my biggest supporters and a huge reason I did a "trust fall" and started my photography journey.

If you know me, I have always had a camera of some sort in my hand, documenting moments. My eye for photography started at a young age, but I never really thought I would make something of it. That changed while on a visit to Albuquerque, Nm. I was capturing the gorgeous scenery when a special friend encouraged me to make my passion a career, so I kind of just took that compliment, got inspired, and ran with it. Now here I am. Creating, seeing, doing, and never looking back.

I believe that every day my faith and hard work makes me better. There is no wrong way or bad way to express your art. Every photographer has their own style and personality and I think that is what makes photography so beautiful. The most rewarding part of my job, is serving others, and I truly believe this is the path God created for me. Photography is art, and the perfect way to share God's glorious creations.
